Back on Track - Airport Perimeter Walkway Re-Opening event Saturday 20th December 2025 11am - 2pm.

After months of partial closure due to the Apron Re-construction Project, we are excited to fully re-open our new and improved Perimeter Walkway! As a much loved exercise route for Nelsonians we are celebrating the re-opening with a fun day out for the family. There will be roaming entertainers handing out spot prizes and half way around the 5K loop you will find the Fun Zone with our firetruck spraying its water cannons, an inflatable obstacle course, and coffee and ice cream available to purchase. Entry is on McLaren Drive with free parking alongside.
