Nelson Airport is designed with families in mind, offering a range of facilities to make travel with children easier. You'll find clean, accessible parent rooms alongside our bathroom facilities, equipped with changing tables and comfortable seating. The terminal is spacious and easy to navigate with strollers, and there’s plenty of seating for families to relax together.
Smaller children will enjoy our “book nook” full of puzzles and stories, as well as the Nelson Tasman Rescue Helicopter ride. With comfortable seating and views through to the airfield and across to the mountain ranges, the children’s area is a pleasant, relaxing spot for families.
